As beach pursuit enthusiasts ourselves, we know how frustrating it can be to find up to the minute information on tidal locations for your area of interest. TideTimes.co.uk was set up with the simple of aim of helping others to search for the most up to date and accurate information for tidal predictions around the coastal regions of the UK and Ireland. Taking it a step further, we’ve included the sunrise & sunset times, moonrise & mooset times and the current moon phase.

TideTimes.co.uk will be evolving to meet your needs, so if there is something you love about the site, please share it with your friends on our Tide Times Facebook Page. An award-winning journalist, columnist and news editor with more than a decade working for a wide variety of publications. Jon has written and edited everything from front page, breaking news stories, features and profiles to property, travel, health, interior design, and general lifestyle articles and supplements. A keen scuba diver and sea angler, Jon has won five prizes in the Newsquest Annual Awards, including overall Journalist of the Year.

  

Luisa Strike

An NCTJ-trained journalist, Luisa has worked for broadsheet newspapers in a variety of roles including Education Correspondent. She edited a quarterly supplement, in addition to writing and editing a weekly features page. Luisa loves nothing more than hitting the beach with the kids and as a keen yachtswoman. Luisa currently works freelance for the major broadsheets, in combination with online content writing and editing here at TideTimes.co.uk.

Ellis Kirk

Ellis has been writing for over a decade, with editorial qualifications from The London School of Journalism, The Society for Editors and Proofreaders, The Publishing Training Centre, The Plain English Campaign and City University. A committed runner, Ellis loves waking up every morning for her daily run on the beach!
